Hypervisor

Proxmox VE 9.2 on dedicated NL/EU chassis or customer metal.

Storage

Enterprise ZFS. Encryption inherited. Tenant datasets. No consumer NAS as the product.

Edge

OPNsense. Zero-trust VLANs. Default deny.

Identity

FreeIPA. Person uid is firstname.lastname. The identity realm is private, never a public mailbox domain.

Backup

Proxmox Backup Server with client-side encryption.

DNS

Split-horizon. Public authority is DNSSEC-signed. Recursion is a different island. No private addresses in public zones.

Location

Dutch/EU datacentre or customer on-prem. Both first class.

Operators

EU persons, EU law only. Crypto-agile; PQ groups when the handshake proves them.

Most European organisations still run critical workloads on infrastructure ultimately controlled outside the EU. Even “European” clouds often keep a foreign control plane. FoundiX exists so you can regain control and keep it.
